So I opened up the hosting space of akciddento.com after a little bit of a break and thought to do some security upates. Drupal 8 was still under the hood running a mildly butchered version of the old Movable Type website and blog – it’s an odd process keeping a blog working for 20 years and bootstrapping code and writing and content from one system to another every few years as some project closes, some company gets bought out, some new system gets updated. So I did some digging and ported the context (without too much pain) into a new system and spent the morning tidying and swearing in equal measure…..
